What You’ll Do

The Vendor Relations and Recruiting Specialist will work alongside our Vendor Management leadership as well as our sales and marketing team to align to and execute on aggressive supply chain growth over the next several years. Recruiting of appraisers, brokers, inspectors, and desktop/evaluation professionals will be top priority in this role. Additional responsibilities include coaching and counseling calls with the valuation professionals in the field, work on scorecarding of said valuation professionals, and participation in all marketing campaigns to improve effectiveness of recruiting efforts to include participation in industry events and tradeshows, and support of client related reporting requirements specific to valuation providers in the field.

What Your Duties and Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Execute valuation professional growth strategy and manage day to day recruiting
  • Communicate to all vendors important and timely reminders and updates
  • Provide training directly to vendors on performance concerns as they arise
  • Manage on-boarding and off-boarding process for all vendors
  • Partner with leadership to build preferred partner program for each vendor type
  • Support operations and review teams on vendor specific concerns

What Skills You Have:

  • Minimum of five (3) years experience in a similar role or organization
  • People focus and enjoyment of interaction with large groups of vendors
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data
  • Advanced Microsoft Office or similar skills
  • Ability to effectively work remote with strong organizational acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time

Job Location: Remote Position (work at home)

Shift hours: Flexible Shifts including Weekend and Evening Shifts

Compensation: Commensurate with Experience

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Review all types of appraisal products to ensure they meet Agency (GSE) and client specific guidelines
  • Ensure that all steps of the QC process are completed accurately within the specified timeframes
  • Request revisions, corrections and/or clarifications on deficient appraisal products
  • Provide guidance on vendor correspondence regarding revisions requested
  • Review and approve or dispute client generated revision requests
  • Maintain daily logs as specified by team lead and/or management
  • Ensure appropriate escalation paths are followed and timely resolution is accomplished
  • Attend and participate in department meetings and provide feedback when necessary
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in the real estate appraisal and/or mortgage lending industry is required
  • National appraisal/valuation review experience is required*
  • USPAP Certification is preferred
